Win Air transports over 7100 passengers to Tortola from 2013 to 2014

St. Maarten – Over 7100 passengers have been transported to date between St. Maarten and Tortola, with increase of loadfactors from 35% to 55% during Win Air’s first year of flying to Tortolla. 993 Flights were executed between the two islands for 2014  according to reports from Win Air on their first year of flying that route.

“We see the growth and potential of this route but need also the commitment of the BVI to make this a yearround sustainable route” says Michael Cleaver President and CEO of WiinAir. On February 26, Win Air held their quarterly marketing meeting with the British Virgin Islands in Tortola at the BVI Tourist Board in Roadtown.

WinAir flies twice daily between Tortola and St. Maarten and overnights 4 times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday to oddering connection with COPA Airlines and Caribbean Airlines.
