St. Maarten – Veteran broadcaster Eddie Williams will be back on the air reading the newspapers and giving commentary on 99.9 Break FM (formerly Radio Soualiga) starting this Friday at 7:15 a.m. Williams took a sabbatical from radio earlier this year; spending time travelling.
Williams, who recently returned home from the Netherlands, said he was eager to be back on the air and fill the void of with much needed news commentary and views.
Break FM is an overhaul of Williams’ old station carried out by his son Elgin. The younger Williams said it was great to have his father back home and back on the air.
Williams will be reading selected stories from The Daily Herald and Today newspaper as well as the editorial from those publications. He urged all of his regular listeners who missed their morning dose of news, bush tea and the reminder to take their medication to tune in to 99.9 Break FM where the younger generation of entertainment meets the serious world of news.
