University of the Southern Caribbean at Career and Study Fair

St. Maarten – University of the Southern Caribbean will be one of the tertiary education institutions that will participate in the Career and Study Fair on Friday, November 4 at the Bel-Air Community Center, St. Maarten. Attendees to the fair will have an opportunity to chat with representatives and find out about USC, and the critical role that the institution plays in preparing students for leadership positions within the global community.

The University of the Southern Caribbean (USC) is a private, co-educational, tertiary institution. It is located on the La Realista Estate, in the verdant Maracas Valley, which forms part of the town of St. Joseph in Trinidad and Tobago. Founded in 1927, the institution maintains a rich heritage as a provider of values-based, holistic quality education that prepares its students for service and leadership in a global context. Currently, its diverse population comprises over 4, 500 students from 42 countries.
The University of the Southern Caribbean (USC) is recognized as a tertiary-level educational institution by the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT) and as a teacher training institution by the Ministry of Education of Trinidad and Tobago. USC is fully accredited by the Adventist Accreditation Association of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, located in Washington D.C., U.S.A. It is also affiliated with Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan, USA.

The school’s current course offerings include Post-Graduate, Graduate, Baccalaureate, Associate Degree programs and certificates within the following schools: School of Sciences and Technology, School of Business, School of Education and Human Sciences, School of Humanities, School of Social Sciences, School of Theology and Religion, Institute of Language Education, and the Math and Science Institute.
