Tuitt on finances

St. Maarten – Today at 2 p.m. the central committee will meet with Minister of Finance Roland Tuitt, who will inform Members of Parliament on two points. The first point of the plenary is informing the MPs to the current financial state of St. Maarten. The second point is the advice from the Permanent Committee of Parliament for Kingdom Affairs and Inter-parliamentary Relations with respect to the Council of the European Union and the Association of Countries and Territories with the EU.

A second plenary session is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. in the General Assembly Chamber. The two agenda points for this meeting are the composition of permanent and extra ordinary committees of parliament and of Parlatino.

Spectators are always welcome to be present in the General Assembly Chamber during public meetings.

The parliamentary sessions will also be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 120, via Pearl Radio FM 98.1, the audio via the Internet www.pearlfmradio.com, and also via www.sxmparliament.org.
