St. Maarten – The renowned Angie Pantophlet, Don Froston and many more will join the Women’s Ministries Department of the Victory Temple Church of God of Prophecy for an evening of “Hymns of Glorious Praise” featuring hymns of the faith. The event, slated for Saturday, June 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the church in Weymouth Hills, is a fundraising effort for the women’s group as part of their year-long campaign to crown the next Queen Esther.
Artists including Malaika Richards, Angie Pantophlet, Rudnel Jones, Courtney Wilson, King’s Daughter, Don Froston, Steven Gail will join with Dianne Greenaway, Mesha Hazel, Vincencia Greene, Sabrina Gourdet and others from Victory Temple in an evening of worship from the church’s traditional hymnal.
“There are some songs that stay with you year after year and never seem to get old,” Dianne Greenaway. We wanted to celebrate this great music that has been the foundation and the inspiration that keeps you going in the good times and bring a sense of peace and comfort in through those rough times we all experience, a worship minister at Victory Temple. Women’s Director, Ruth Harty appreciates the artists who’ve agreed to perform and the ladies of the group who spearheaded the evening of hymns: Hilda Richardson, Glenda Samuel, and Ruthmilda Patrick-Solomons.
