St. Maarten Police make five arrests

Police arrested five people this weekend for different violations – two for breaking identification laws and three for ill-treatment.

One of the suspects caught without identification had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
The police report did not specify the charges against this person.

One of the ill-treatment cases involves two young women who had hot food thrown at them by a man who is now in custody.

The detective department is investigating all cases.
