St. Maarten Parliament discusses James’ vote today

St. Maarten – Members of Parliament will discuss the fact that Member of Parliament Jules James voted on a draft motion of the National Alliance from 2011 in which he was specifically named during a public general meeting that begins at 10:00 a.m. The motion was tabled on November 17.
The meeting was requested by the National Alliance in a letter dated January 10, 2012. They specifically want to discuss James’ vote on their November 17 motion, the position of the NA that MP Jules James was not allowed to vote on the motion; the letter of the Governor of St. Maarten to Parliament, dated December 5, 2011; and the reactions of the Chairlady of Parliament to the aforementioned.
The meeting will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 20 and via Pearl Radio FM 98.1.
