GREAT BAY – St. Maarten Cable T.V. has donated $1, 725 to this year’s Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign which is being jointly led by the Positive Foundation, led by Shelly Alphonso, and the newly created Elektralytes Foundation, led by Mercedes “Elektra” Wyatt. The money covers expenses for an event on the calendar.

“We are proud to be one of the main sponsors of the movie night being organized by the Positive and Elektralytes Foundation, which will take place next week. Our staff has spent several weeks preparing for this long awaited event,” Managing Director of St. Maarten Cable T.V. Beulah Jonis stated in a release.

Cable T.V. has also donated pink totes they received from Lifetime – an American television network that focuses on women – to Mercedes “Elektra” Wyatt so she could give them away on her morning show “Wake up with Elektra.”

“Through our programming agreement with Lifetime T.V., we have been fortunate to once again join with them and be part of their “Stop Breast Cancer for life” campaign,” Jonis stated.
