St. Dominic High School hosts bingo February 18

POSTED: 02/9/12 12:50 PM

St. Maarten – St. Dominic High School’s Parent/Teachers Association, the students, teachers and parents hosts the school’s annual bingo in the school’s auditorium and gym on February 18 beginning at 8:00 p.m. sharp. The prizes include airline tickets, free week-long and weekend stays at luxury resorts, jewelry, household items, electronic equipment, gift certificates for dinner-for-two at well-known St. Maarten restaurants. People will also be able to buy a variety of snacks and drinks.
The proceeds from this Bingo will be used to remove the 40-foot containers (used as classrooms before the new building) and to build gazebos for the students. After the repeated successes over past years the PTA decided to buy their own bingo equipment. There will also be enough “new and lucky” bingo cards to play with.
The general set-up plan has been modified and the school will make sure that the auditorium and gym hall have fully functional screens with ample time for bingo winners to come forward. The sale of tickets, snack and drinks will all be moved to the front, to create more seating spaces so participants can have a comfortable and an enjoyable evening.
Parents, staff and students of St. Dominic High are looking forward to another successful bingo. People who want bingo cards in advance can contact the school or one of the PTA members, students or teachers.
