St. Maarten -Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort Casino and Spa hit a number of major award milestones in 2014. One of the latest recognition comes from Sonesta International – the award for exceptional employee engagement.

The award was announced at the recent Sonesta Global Conference in Philadelphia, United States. This award followed after many achievements in 2014, including the Leading Resort of 2014 recognition, “AAA three diamond” award, and Groupon Getaways Guest Favorite Resort Award. All awards are reflection of the commitment and team work exhibited by Sonesta Great Bay’s exceptional team under the leadership of General Manager Karl Bourne and the support from resort owner The Maho Group.
