Sections of L.B. Scot Road close from today

St. Maarten – The government will begin closing sections of the L.B. Scot Road today so that road markings can be placed. The project, which continues until June 4, covers the 1, 300 meters from the Sol Gas Station to Cake House Supermarket. Traffic leaving Cul de Sac will have to pay attention to the detours, while motorists entering Cul de Sac will have unhindered access.

The first closure will be from the St. Peters Sol Gas Station to the Arbutus Road/L.B. Scott Road intersection. Motorists will not have access to this stretch of road from 10:00 p.m. tonight to 4:00 a.m. on Friday.

The second closure will be Arbutus Road/L.B. Scott Road intersection to the Flamboyant Road/ L.B. Scott Road intersection.  This segment will be closed from 10:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1 to 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2.

The third closure will be from the Flamboyant Road/ L.B. Scott Road intersection to the Gladiola Road/L.B Scott Road intersection. This segment will be closed from 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2 to 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 3.

The fourth and final closure will be from the Gladiola Road/L.B Scott Road intersection to the intersection at Cake House Supermarket. This segment will be closed from 10:00 p.m. on Sunday June 3 to Monday, June 4 at 4:00 a.m.
