St. Maarten -Prime Minister Sarah Wescot-Williams met with outgoing Country Manager of Bank of Nova Scotia Elie Bendaly on Monday. Bendaly will be leaving St. Maarten to further his professional career abroad and officially bid farewell to the prime minister. She thanked him for both his work in the banking sector and for the various community outreach programs he was involved in.
“The absence of Mr. Bendaly will surely be felt and I can speak on behalf of government as well as from a personal perspective that he will be missed on the island,” the prime minister said.
