Robbers crack supermarket ATM

WILLEMSTAD, Curacao – The Albert Heijn supermarket near Zeelandia had uninvited shoppers on Christmas Day who emptied the ATM in the store. It is not known how much money the robbers took.

The police in Willemstad told reporters that more than one robber entered the supermarket via the roof. They de-activated alarm systems, including the smoke-alarm. They turned security cameras around to avoid recognition before they used a blow torch to open the automatic teller machine. The robbers took all the money and probably left the supermarket via the roof again.
