St. Maarten – Public Works has started executing a road repair program worth 1.6 million guilders (around US$890,000). Yesterday contractor Windward Roads resurfaced large parts of Bush Road between the Shell gas station at the corner of Zagersgut Road and the roundabout near Le Grand Marché.
Head of maintenance Claudius Buncamper said that the department will announce the program for the coming week tomorrow.
On Zagersgut Road part of the road repair has been done with concrete. Next in line for repairs are the roads in Cay Bay and the Juancho Yrasquin Boulevard.
