Prime Minister visits oldest person in Curacao

WILLEMSTAD –Prime Minister of Curacao, Daniel Hodge, took the time to visit the oldest centenarian of Curacao. According to the prime minister, it was an honor to meet and talk with Maria Samson Leer. He noted that Maria is an example to all the people of Curacao. She has lived a healthy life.

On her birthday Samson Leer received from the Department of Social Security a brand new wheel chair as a present. Geselle Rosaria Coffie of the Foundation for our Elderly was also present. She noted that Curacao is rich now thanks to people like Maria Samson Leer who is the oldest person in Curacao, former Antilles and the entire Kingdom.
