Pigs attack man in Nazareth

POSTED: 01/9/13 11:19 PM

St. Maarten– A man suffered minor injuries after he was attacked by two wild pigs in the Nazareth area yesterday. The victim, M.A., described the pigs to police as very large and extremely aggressive. The animals were walking close to the Amsterdam road and the Monrovia drive when they fielded their attack. The victim sustained minor wounds and bruises and was treated at the Medical Center.

Attempts by the police to find the pigs’ owners failed. The police department urges the owner to put the animals in a locked pen because it will not tolerate the presence of aggressive animals on public roads.
