POSTED: 10/10/11 11:51 AM

St. Maarten – The Parliament discusses the developments surrounding the postal services tomorrow afternoon from two o’clock in a meeting that was requested by the opposition National Alliance. Prime Minister Sarah Wescot-Williams, also responsible for the Ministry of General Affairs, will attend the meeting.
The National Alliance requested the meeting last Wednesday. The focal point of the meeting is the transfer of the postal services from Nieuwe Post Nederlandse Antillen to country St. Maarten.
The Central Committee meeting about doctors’ cards, social benefits and labor affairs that was supposed to continue today has been adjourned until October 24, because Public Health and Labor Minister Cornelius de Weever is off island today.
