Par excluded from transition-cabinet

WILLEMSTAD —It is most unlikely that political party Par will be included in the formation process, now that negotiations are making progress.

Negotiating parties recently made agreements on the transition-cabinet for a period of three to six months. It is not unlikely that the Par or other parties will be invited to join the process in forming a political cabinet after this period.

The Par did not receive a letter from formateur Glenn Camelia in reply to their letter from last Wednesday, expressing their willingness to join the negotiating parties.

The letter was sent to Camelia in his status of formateur, but it refers to the previous information round. It is expected that the negotiating parties will consider involving Par with the government after the transition-cabinet. Currently, political parties Pueblo Soberano (PS), Pais, PNP and independent Parliament member Glenn Sulvaran are negotiating an agreement about a transition-cabinet.
