St. Maarten – The list of foreign contestants for the 22nd Miss Caraibes Hibiscus has almost been finalized, and the time has come to select a local queen. She will have to outlast four others in a pageant this Saturday in Maho to join that list.
The local Miss Caraibes Hibiscus franchise holder, Ann Meyers has been saddled with the responsibility of putting the local pageant together but at the end of the night it will be up the panel of judges.
That queen will be picked from Caroline Paredes, Sheila Jose, Diana Constant, Stephanie Fraites and Alejandra Sprott. “Every thing is going according to plans and the girls will have their final practice at the venue this Friday and we just need the public to come out and support them,” Meyers said.
The eventual winner will be going up against 24 other contestants and a chance to win the top prize and the spoils that go with being a queen in the grand finale which takes place on December 8 at the Casino Royale.
