Opinion: Money has become God

POSTED: 04/3/14 2:59 PM

Dear editor,

This article is for me and for all people who are not willing to deceive themselves. I love money and it is necessary as reward for work or duties performed. Remember it is men that make money, and when you create something that you value more than God then you are truly a fool. The St. Martin electorate consists mostly now of people born of immigrants or naturalized Dutch citizens. Most of these people were born or came here for economical reasons; it has nothing to do with love of country. I still can understand these people.

The people who I dislike are all the St. Martin families who postulate themselves in the UP party, the National Alliance and the Democratic Party that know well the destruction these party have done to the native St. Martin people and continue to do. Some of these people have a good education but no commonsense to understand that continued destruction of the native St. Martin people is what is taken place.

This scripture is for you, Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. Judge people by their actions; name a politician who will enact legislation to protect the native St. Martin people with special privileges. But the same foolish politicians will tell you that what the Supreme Court did in the Dominican Republic is racist and has no regards for human rights (the Haitian issue).

That means that they do not value the native people as humans, because no politicians of UP, National Alliance or DP wants to protect them. This scripture is for you. Proverbs 15:27 The greedy bring ruin to their households, but the one who hates bribes will live. Take a good look at our politicians; they hang out with gangsters, some are convicts who would like to tell you about right and wrong, such are hypocrites.

Our government will spend lots of money on a statue of a pelican while knowing there are people going to sleep hungry. They love popularity, they boast about themselves and pretend to be good people. This scripture is for you. 2 Timothy 3:2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy. The example of being a good politician is to be a man of woman that dresses nice but lives as a whore or whoremonger or even homosexual and steal other people’s money.

It is a nasty and false image that deceives the younger generation in St. Martin making them believe that is cool and the best way of life. This scripture is for people like you. Jeremiah 17:9, The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? The conclusion is that St. Martin politics have nothing to do with love of country and people. St. Martin politics is all about love for self and about continuing to deceive all once they allow it.

My dislike is at the St. Martin electorate which surely now consist of beggars; most of the electorate has become political prostitutes who allow themselves to be used for a little money. If you call that hope, then hope is over. Money has become God on St. Martin where men sleep with men for money and pedophilia has become the norm.

When I look around in the streets everyday all I see is evil and lawlessness – more immigrants and beggars. St. Martin’s best days are over. Only when people open their heart for true love and compassion and love for the native St. Martin people who are the real owners of this country will God bless this country. UP, National Alliance and DP are the destruction of St. Martin. If you think the devil will save you, you are deceiving yourselves, for he will surely destroy you. These scripture is for you. Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 8:13 To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.
