St. Maarten (DCOMM) – The Office of the Ombudsman has two community information sessions planned this week – today at the library in Philipsburg and on Thursday in the Dutch Quarter Community Center. Both sessions begin at 7.30 p.m. and are scheduled to conclude by 9 p.m.

Both sessions allows residents to learn more about the Ombudsman’s role and how it can assist the community.

The Ombudsman’s main task is to investigate the conduct of government, civil servants and other administrative bodies based on complaints received from citizens, organizations and based on its own prerogative.

Ombudsman Dr. Nilda Arduin will be available during the sessions to provide information and to answer questions.
