Night of the hit makers back for its third year

St. Maarten – Xtratight™ Entertainment presents its 3rd edition of TelCell night of the hit makers—carnival’s premier dance experience and show– offering an Xtatic experience for St. Maarten Carnival 2015. Xtratight™ has brought a blend of artist together that according to organizers, guarantees to set the dance floor in Carnival Village on “fyah”. This year the event will feature Era, Carimi, Kerwin Du Bois, Destra and last but not least: St. Maarten’s very own: Youth Waves. The festivities is carded for Friday April 24th, at the Carnival Village and doors will open at 8pm, dance starts @ 8:30pm promptly.

“This year’s TelCell Night Of The Hit Makers possesses the musical ingredients for everyone, and the artist line up represents its name to the fullest, “Hit Makers”. Each artist that will take the stage has been labeled as a definite Hit Maker; having a string of mega hits that pulses excitement in fans all over the world. Just like every other XT event, Xtratight™ Entertainment is committed to ensure a production of the highest caliber and promises that Night Of The Hit Makers will once again exceed the expectations of many,” a press release from organizers states.

All the acts on the line up are well known to the island. Youth Waves, is one of St. Maarten’s longest standing giants when it comes to bands on the island. “They have the experience and know how to rock any crowd, swaying them from left to right, making sure they always follow the leader.” The band is well known for hits like “Reverse”, “Who’s The Leader”, ‘Tonight Baby” and many more.

Era, is viewed by many as undoubtedly the #1 dance band hailing out of Curacao. “Era has been rocking the dance floor since 1983. The band’s front line features singers that bring the house down when they touch the stage. Maske Bon Kemi Mas sung by Boy Thode, is an unforgettable hit from Era that will full any dance floor from the first note. St Maarten has been waiting on the return of Era for a while,” the event’s organizers said.

Carimi, these kompa / zouk kings are no strangers to St. Maarten, “every time Carimi play it feels like it’s the first time you are hearing the band”. Carnival Village will be transformed into one big dance floor when Carimi start letting go hits such as “Are You Ready”, “Baby Cool”, “Haiti Bang Bang” and many more.  The community is invited to be a part of the biggest outdoor disco in St. Maarten.

Kerwin Du Bois, has some of the biggest soca hits resonating on the radio. Without doubt Kerwin Du Bois is one of the top-notch hit makers on the soca scene today. “His distinct voice and groovy melodies give you no option but move to the beat.” Kerwin Du Bois brought hits such as “Too Real”, “Spoil Myself”, “I Am Soca”, “Wettin” and more. His mega hit Baccahnalist has touched the four corners of the earth and now Kerwin Du Bois is ready to touch St. Maarten.

Destra, is the self proclaimed Queen Of Bacchanal. She is known for her high energetic performances. The Queen of Bacchanal is known for hits such as “Jumping”, “Carnival”, “I Dare You”, “Max It Up” and much more. Destra was a big hit and most talked about performance at St. Kitts Jazz Festival, World Creole Festival in Dominica and Destra promises nothing less with her performance in St. Maarten for Night Of The Hit Makers.

TelCell Night Of The Hit Makers production is planned to guarantee each patron a memorable and Xtatic experience. “The signature dance-floor is back, be a part of the biggest outdoor disco setting on the island. The production will be Xtratight™ with the show starting on time. It’s not just a concert; it’s a Carnival dance experience,” the press release concludes.
