St. Maarten – Nagico Insurances donated a brand new copier and over 200 copy books to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. school yesterday morning to assist with teaching material for the children enrolled there.

“Education is one of the areas we give priority. We promote studying amongst our youths and here at Nagico amongst our staff, because nothing can be achieved without hard work and education,” the company stated in a press release.

The school approached the insurer for help and Nagico promptly pledged its support and offered to assist with copy books for the students and a multi-functional copier. As part of the company’s educational policy, scores of Nagico staff members are currently engaged in tertiary level studies aimed at improving themselves and to continue to provide the best service to their clients in all 19 territories in which they operate.

The items were presented by Kassandra Matthews and Marlen Ozuna Frias to Christopher Emanuel, a representative of the school.
