More than 10 stakeholders at second pregnancy market

St. Maarten – More than 10 stakeholders from the public and private sector will be present at Wednesday’s second Pregnancy Market organized by Youth Health Care (YHC), under the auspices of Collective Prevention Services (CPS) in collaboration with the Department of Community Development, Family & Humanitarian Affairs (CDFHA). The 10 stakeholders will provide a wealth of information to the visitors of the pregnancy market.

The stakeholders are: St. Maarten Medical Center (pediatric ward, OB/GYN ward, Children’s Ward, Gynecologist/Midwives); AHLIP/Physiotherapy Clinic, Angelique Martis-Roumou (breast feeding), Philipsburg Jubilee Library, Marinique & Capriles, Diaper Cakes, Dance Dimension, Oduber Agencies, Diabetes Foundation, White & Yellow Cross (post natal care), SIFMA, Civil Registry Office, Community Helpdesk, and CPS (Youth Health Care, Dental Care program, Nutrition).

Businesses still have an opportunity to sign up and participate in the market. The invitation is open to businesses that sell maternity clothing, kid’s furniture or anything related to the subject matter.

The pregnancy market is for women who are planning a pregnancy, pregnant women and parents of newborns. It is a forum for the provision of information on a possible pregnancy, staying healthy during pregnancy, nutrition for mother and baby, materials to be used during pregnancy and after delivery, what to wear and topics that stimulates a healthy and safe pregnancy and childbirth.

The pregnancy market will be at the Vineyard Office Park Building. It will be held between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
