St.maarten – The Ministry of Public Health, Social Development, and Labor and the Ministry of Education have created the website to make it easier for job seekers to find work and to enable companies to find the right employees. Using the site is free of charge.

The new website is still under development; it allows job seekers and employers to register, make a profile, and browse job opportunities or potential candidates in their chosen category.

After job seekers have registered, they can easily search and apply for jobs. They get the opportunity to fill in information about their education, personal, job history and more, in order to share with perspective employers.

The business community will also benefit from this website.

After companies register and create their profile, they can easily connect to potential employees, view profiles, post job vacancies quickly and efficiently, and manage their publications.

The website is launched in a test-phase. Minister Lee asks the community to give feedback to further improve the site.

The Ministry intends to get the Labor Department involved as a moderator checking that all businesses that register on are also registered at the Labor Department.

Unregistered companies will be asked to register at the Labor Department before their registration on is accepted.

Minister Lee encourages the community to test out and provide any feedback that they may have to ministryvsa
