St. Maarten – The Beyond Writing Foundation and Motiance Dance School are organizing together a master class of 4 hours for the contestants of last year’s Caribbean Living Statues Festival. Director of Motiance Dance School, Arlene Halley: “The master class is free of charge and its goal is to enhance the basic skills of former participants, with extra techniques of body painting, stiffening of their cloths and preparing the accessories in order to professionalize their acts.” She says.

“This year the master class also will have former statues that will function as guiders for the new statues. The best statues will be selected for the Statues by Night. The exhibition day thereof is 7th December in the evening, and we are busy setting the arrangements for the scenes in the Maho area.” Halley continues.

The Caribbean Living Statues Festival will take place in Philipsburg in the weekend of the 7th until the 9th of December. The master class will be held prior to that weekend from the December 3rd until the 7th. The deadline for the master class is coming November 10th.
