Le Floch and Scotney share top honors in Greenhouse run

St. Maarten – For Gael Le Floch and Morgan Scotney, it was a fitting way to end year on a winning note and bring down the curtains on the final race of the year in the Greenhouse to Greenhouse run/walk on Sunday,

Scotney who was a part of the group which distanced themselves from the pack shortly after the start of the race was well positioned in the seven man group before making his move and crossed the finishing line unchallenged with a time of 45 minutes and 20 seconds.

Occupying the second position was Rainer Ranis, by far the most promising short distance runner in his age bracket and had had a time of 37.33. In third was Lochner Philippe, who came in approximately 15 seconds after Ranis.

In the female category, Le Floch, the winner of the Fatum Run, ran like the champion she is and crossed the line in 46 minutes and 25 seconds. Second in that category was Samantha Farley in 51.17 and in third was Thierry Line in 51.57.

The female winner in the (walk) which started ahead of the run, Corine Dufrenot was first to cross the line in 1.13.20 followed by Thierry Frederique in 1.24.31 and Vries Pascal in 1.24.32. The first male walker to complete the race was Jimmy Bastareaud, with a time of 1.10.46.
