St. Maarten – The Elektralytes & Positive foundations have teamed up with Kooyman to host a “Paint It Pink” Breast Cancer Awareness Event this Saturday. Kooyman will open late from 5 to 9 p.m. to accommodate 200 lucky ladies for a special evening. The event features a Makita workshop, where customers will get the opportunity to make their very own “Pink” wooden tool box and one lucky participant will get the opportunity to win an exclusive pink Makita hammer drill det.

After some hard work, ladies can unwind with some Tequila Rose cocktails in the Rose Lounge provided by CC1; or get pampered with beauty treatments and skin analysis consults by the staff at Manrique Caprilles. The team at Penha will also be on board offering makeovers at the Pink Beauty Corner.

Kooyman invites all ladies to be hands on and paint it pink in the hopes of raising breast cancer awareness to all, said Kooyman’s commercial officer Evencia Carty-Seabrookes. Kooyman commends the Elektralytes & Positive foundation for their continued efforts to raise awareness for this illness that affects so many. And we are happy to show our support through the organization of this fundraising event.”

The event also features some Kooyman signature activities such as Revamp Your Junk where participants can bring in old picture frames, candleholders and other decorative items that they can paint pink, add glitter and turn from shabby to chic. Or the paint it pink booth where participants can turn glass bottles into pink crafty vases.

Adding an extra touch to the event will be Makita power tools who are offering 200 free pink polo shirts to all participants. Ladies are encouraged to register NOW via www.kooymanbv.com to guarantee their pink polo shirt and their spot at this special fundraising event.

The proceeds from the event activities will be donated to the Elektralytes & Positive Foundation.
