St. Maarten – At last the silence on the mystery surrounding the hosting of the pre selection in the Miss Caraibes Hibiscus has been broken after the local franchise holder Ann Meyers announced that it will be held this Saturday at the Belair Community Center starting at 8 p.m.

This new development will bring a sigh of relief for the five girls that have been rehearsing for a number of weeks, their parents, chaperons and friends. “The girls are still optimistic and it will be a great show,” Meyers stated.

According to Meyers, tickets that had been bough previously can be used to fain entry on Saturday night. However, tickets can also be bought at Vandorp in Simpson Bay and Madame Estate. At the door, tickets will cost US $20.

The person to represent Sint Martin/St Maarten at the 22nd Caraibes Hibiscus which will take place on December 10 at the Casino Royale will be selected from Caroline Paredes, Sheila Jose, Diana Constant, Stephanie Fraites and Alejandra Sprott and the eventual winner will be up against 24 contestants from across the globe.
