French residents urged to renew driver’s license

St. Maarten – French residents who hold an expired St. Maarten driver’s license need to make an appointment at the Civil Registry Department to renew it.

From Monday until Friday, except for Wednesday, from 11 a.m. till 3.30 p.m. the appointments can be made. The license will be valid until March 31, 2013.

For the license the following documents are required; a passport picture, valid French ID/passport, a valid medical declaration, proof of French residency (attestation domicile) and the expired driver’s license.
