Five ordinances added to parliament’s website

St. Maarten – Five new draft ordinances have been added to the parliamentary website – for citizens to review. The laws are in Dutch. The new laws that have been added are the Criminal Code, the draft amendment that will allow Emancipation Day – July 1 – to be a holiday, the draft ordinance related to the introduction of rules related to energy savings, changes to the Stamp Ordinance 1994 in connection with the introduction of a new Identification Card and Driver’s License and changes to the National Ordinance Voluntary Corps of St. Maarten 1997.
