St. Maarten – Between the four plus sized ladies that will make their presence felt on stage in the Paradise Village in Galisbay this evening, only one will walk away with the coveted title, the crown and the hype that goes with being a queen in their own rights.

Of the four ladies, three are from the French side of the island and the fourth is from the Dutch side of the island. Adalia Williams will represent the district of French Quarter, Jeanette Annicette hails from Saint James, Cathricia Barry is from Sandy Ground and Kizzy Fleming, will be representing Sucker Garden.

This event which was organized by the FCDSM, is specifically designed to give women with curves an opportunity to be in the spotlight while showcasing their talents in front of a large audience.

It also provides those women with curves an opportunity to be more confident in their appearances and build self-esteem. They too are beautiful in their own way, they just need the courage and a chance to show it.
