Educational film festival at University begins tomorrow

St. Maarten – The Love of Kids Foundation presents its 5th annual educational film festival starting tomorrow at the University of St Martin.

This premier evening will include a wine and cheese reception from 6 to 7 p.m. where visitors can mingle with fellow colleagues, professionals and parents. The film festival officially opens
at 7.15 p.m. with the evenings feature films The Finland Phenomenon: Inside the World’s Most Surprising School System, Introduction to the Studio School (TED Talk – G. Mulgan) and
Child Driven Education  (TED Talk – Sugata Mitra).

On October 17 the festival continues with Decoding Dyslexia – Innovative ways of living with dyslexia and Journey into Dyslexia – a HBO documentary.
On October 24th its time for The Autism Enigma – Are bacteria to blame? – a PBS Documentary
and  Autism Now – Robert MacNeil reports on the latest findings.
The festival concludes on October 31 with ADD and Loving it ?!” – Comedian Patrick McKenna shares life lessons for those with ADD and ADHD and ADD/ADHD Smart Solutions – a movie with ideas about improving children’s behavioral issues
