The representatives of the people had another fine day at the office yesterday. The United People’s party faction picked a fight about procedures and walked out of a meeting about the hospital.

So okay, maybe Minister de Weever should have had his answers in writing. And maybe that meeting should have been held sooner. So what?

Meetings that are about the issues are hard to find in the parliament building. there is always some MP ready to start nitpicking about something that strokes the ego and achieves absolutely nothing.

The viewer ratings for central committee and parliament meetings are so bad any TV station worth its salt would have ditched the program a long time ago. When is this going to stop? When will our politicians grow up and start to deliver on their promises? When Easter and Pentecost fall on the same day?
