The Democratic Party has severely criticized the governing program and not without reason. The document is, as the DP has noted, a wish list that does not offer ideas about when the government intends to do what.
It is remarkable that other opposition members in parliament have not reacted at all to the program so far, but that could be due to the recess.
It remains however quite painful that one of the smallest faction in parliament is the first one to come out with an analysis of the program.
It is – by objective standards – indeed a rather cluttered document that contains, as the DP points out, quite some contradictions.
One could even call the program embarrassing. We have a government program, but we have no idea what the government’s priorities really are.
