St.maarten – Gas prices went up last Saturday again. Unleaded gas at the pump went from 1.748 to 1.863 guilders (from $0.976 to $1.04). On the French side, gas is at stations that take dollars on a 1:1 parity with the euro still $0.87. This makes gas on the Dutch side currently $0.17 per liter more expensive, a difference of 19.5 percent.
The price of diesel went up from 1.274 to 1.347 guilders (from $0.712 to $0.753), an increase of 4.1 dollar cent of 5.6 percent.
