Dutch Council of State considers legality integrity-probe

THE HAGUE – The Council of State in The Hague has taken into consideration the advice the government of Sint Maarten wants about the legality of the contested instruction to Governor Holiday to order an integrity investigation. On its website, the council describes the matter as “a request for information from the Minister Plenipotentiary of Sint Maarten about the legality of the intention of the Kingdom Council of Ministers to give an instruction to investigate the integrity of the administration of Sint Maarten.”
