Duncan threatens Brooks Towers Accord applicants with deportation

St. Maarten – Justice Minister Roland Duncan gives applicants for a Brooks Towers Accord permit who were found to have registered with a bogus employer three weeks to correct their application by coming in with their real employer. Otherwise, they face deportation.
The BTA advisory committee stated in a press release issued yesterday that all applicants who were approved will be contacted soon.
The ones who registered with a bogus employer have three weeks to correct their situation. There is no penalty, the committee stated.
However, all this will change for applicants who fail to show up with their real employer and who fail to submit the correct information.
People who are registered with a bogus employer and do not come in, the committee warned, “will be subject to prosecution and deportation.”
