St. Maarten – The show of support in the fight against breast cancer awareness was evident in the number of participants that turned up for the early morning walk which started at DIVICO in Colebay and concluded at the Emilio Wilson Estate.

In keeping with this year’s theme, ‘Friends In the fight against breast cancer’ most of the participants bought T shirts which was sold at a minimal cost of US$5,00. However this year’s route was by far more challenging than the previous years.

After the pink bag of goodies was handed out, it was time for the journey to begin proceeding left towards the Causeway, through Simpson Bay/Cole Bay and up Cole Bay Hill. After reaching the vicinity of the GEBE tanks, some participants opted to proceed downhill towards Kooyman on the way to the Emilio Wilson Estate.

But those who were more used to the early morning session went down to the hill towards Learning Unlimited/through Cay Hill over Link One down to Front Street/ connect to the Board Walk and after turning left in the vicinity of the Emaplain, they made their way to the Pond Fill/Bush Road before the final stretch along the LB Scot Road.
