St. Maarten – Domino’s Pizza is bent on setting a “world record” by delivering pizzas to eight countries and islands within one hour on Friday. Some of the deliveries will be made by air, some by land, and one by sea.

The company will record the effort on video and send the material to local and international media.

Dominos will deliver during this marketing stunt to St. Maarten, Saint Martin, Anguilla, St. Barths, Saba, Statia and St. Kitts and Nevis. Plans to add Tortola as the ninth delivery point had to be dropped because the runway on that island is closed that night.

The event begins Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. at Domino’s location post security at the Princess Juliana International airport with a Grey Goose and refreshment party, combined with offerings of domino’s pizzas. Flights depart at 5.30 p.m. and the party should be wrapped up by 7 p.m.
