Dominic High students produce high scores

St. Maarten – St Dominic High School announced last week the receipt of CXC Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) results. Once again, St. Dominic High has a 100% college passing rate with all 43 students achieving the required six or more general level grades of I, II, and/or III.
This year the results have produced two valedictorians from the Class of 2012. The Business valedictorian is Nympha Richardson and Ekta Thawani is the Science valedictorian. Ekta has traveled to the Netherlands to study in the city of Nijmegen at Hogeschool Arnhem. She is majoring in Life Sciences. Nympha is presently enrolled in the pre-university International Baccalaureate Diploma Program at St. Dominic High. Nympha Richardson and Ekta Thawani will share the coveted valedictorian spotlight and be recognized for their achievements at this year’s graduation ceremony to be held on December 18, 2012.
Other notable achievements resulting from this year’s examination session include the nineteen early candidates – two from Form 2 and seventeen from Form 4 -who wrote examinations in Mathematics, English, Dutch and/or Spanish. All of those students achieved grade I’s for each subject they sat.
