DJ Pauly birthday party a hit

St. Maarten – To stage a birthday party at the Festival Village is certainly a huge endeavor, but to have some top entertainers like Marion ‘Lady Saw’ Hall, Allaine Laughton and our own Addie ‘Shadowman’ Richardson performing at that party is certainly a huge accomplishment. The special party for DJ Pauly was sponsored by Tempo, Heineken, Pave Foundation, S.O.S, Raysil Construction, PJD2 Radio, Sign Tripple 9, Sound 2000, I Love St Maarten.Com, Mix Master Crew Foundation, Oyster Bay Resort and the St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation.
Saw, the first female deejay to win a grammy award and first woman to headline dancehall shows outside Jamaica, is known for her slack lyrics and provocative overtones. But for the time she appeared on stage wearing a loose white dress, there was never a dull moment. The gathering, which was predominantly female, loved every moment.
Prior to the arrival of Lady Saw on stage, the gathering was entertained by Allaine, an American born, singer song writer who has a voice to go with her beauty.
Ragga, Da Key/Acher, Poison Cat, Sean +1, Slaughter House Crew, Dutty Slick & Crew also performed while Kisha Girls and Suggary Treasurers modeled some of the latest fashions.
