POSTED: 10/12/11 4:36 PM

WILLEMSTAD- Dutch Antilles Express (DAE) temporarily suspended service from Curacao to Aruba and Bonaire on Tuesday as part of the company’s restructuring. The management expects service will be resumed within approximately 30 days.
All ticketed passengers will be provided with alternative transportation to their final destination, whether this is Aruba, Bonaire or Curacao. Additionally DAE will provide a voucher which will have a value equivalent to the value of the unused ticket purchased by the customer. This voucher can be used within a year of its issuance to purchase any ticket on DAE’s network. Passengers may also opt to refund their unused tickets.
The airline is currently reaching out to customers to inform them of the suspension of the flights, but they’re also asking passengers to call them to make arrangements. People can call the DAE call center at 599 9 461 3009 daily from 07.00 to 22.00. Customers in Aruba can also call 297 588 1900 daily from 07.00 to 20.00. Passengers in Bonaire can contact DAE at telephone 599 7 17 0808 open daily from 07.00 to 22.00.
“DAE would like to make use of this opportunity and offer her sincere apologies for any inconvenience that may be caused due to the temporary suspension of her flights to and from Aruba and Bonaire,” a company release stated.
