DAE resume flights between Curacao and Aruba

St. Maarten – Dutch Antilles Express (DAE) resumed its flights between Curaçao and Aruba Friday with a jet service. The resumption comes a week after the flights were temporarily suspended. There will now be two daily flights, including a flight on the Fokker 100 that will cost 100 guilders and occur at “convenient hours.”

DAE recently went through financial upheaval. Government-owned Korpodeko tried to rescue the company but a group of local investors bought the company in a collaboration that includes an international group led by New York based US based Aviation Resource I.
