St. Maarten – Mark and Karla Cleveland bought back Mary’s Boon for a reported $2.9 million last week, Jeff Berger’s online newsletter St. Maarten weekly News reported.

The Cleveland’s owned the hotel, located just south of the airport on the Simpson Bay Beach, for years. In the summer of 2007 they sold what has been labeled the island’s premier boutique beach resort.  Om Thanksgiving, the Clevelands finalized the deal to buy the hotel back at the SPS notary office.

“Myself, my wife Karla and my boys Adam and Connor were all there and we handed the notary a check for $2,925,000 to close the deal,” Mark Cleveland is quoted as saying in the newsletter. “We are thrilled and thankful to have it back. Great things are coming and we hope to see you all back at Mary’s Boon soon.”
