Chippie partners with “One Love” for carnival

St. Maarten – Chippie has established a partnership with the Chief Executive Officer of Imbrace Jacqueline Louis to produce a series of exciting events for this year’s Carnival. The theme of the collaboration is ‘One Love’.

The first collaboration is Chippie’s sponsorship of the “One Love Soca & Zouk Xplosion” to be held on April 29 at the St. Maarten Festival Village. Zouk legends Kassav will be the featured performers. They’ll be supported by “a sizzling line-up of soca artists” to be announced in a teaser promotional campaign orchestrated by Imbrace.

“Some entertainers come and go. However, a group like KASSAV are leading legends in the international music industry, with over 33 years of engaging and entertaining billions throughout the world. Given the similarities to CHIPPIE’s long-term commitment to serving the people of St. Maarten, and facilitating global connections, we thought it would be essential to be a part of this history-making event,” Chippie Service Market Manager Michanou Arrundell stated.

Chippie customers will be given the opportunity to win a chance to lavish in the “One Love VIP Lounge” at the “Soca & Zouk Xplosion” by participating in the Chippie “3 for 30,” campaign, which allows customers to call three people unlimited for only 30 guilders.

In the second project, CHIPPIE, FunMiles, Antillean Liquors and Imbrace have teamed up to bring the “One Love J’ouvert Group,” and further enhance the Carnival experience with a strong presence on the road during the St. Maarten Carnival J’ouvert on Saturday, April 28. Further details will be forthcoming in the days ahead.

“We encourage the community of St. Maarten to come out and enjoy these Jam Sessions, and support KASSAV, as well as many otherlong time favorite bands, as they get into the spirit of Carnival. This is merely taste of what’s to come on April 29th at the Festival Village,” Louis said.
