St. Maarten – It really did not matter if they were dancing on the ceiling, on their heads or back or feet, what the participants of the dancehall competition had to do was impress the panel of judges and captivate the audience. At the end of the competition, the crown was placed on the head of Catherine Charbonier during the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The event which was the first of its kind on the Dutch side was organized by Club High Up, on Hot Mondayz. For her effort, Charbonier won herself a trip to St Kitts and a chance to stay at the Marriott.

The first runner up prize went to a dancer who goes by the name of ‘Ice’ and the second runner up was Britney, the only full figured participant in the competition. Each of the seven participants received a basket of goodies.
