St. Maarten – The Board of the Foundation of Secondary has decided to appoint Vital Carty as Acting General Director of Milton Peters College and Sundial School to replace John Wolff. Alvin Rombley, who is the former head of the PKL/PBL section, has been appointed as his assistant and will be temporarily relocated to the Milton Peters College.
The school board says the appointments are “immediate temporary measures to guarantee the smooth continuation of the operations” at both schools after Wolff resigned earlier this year to take up the post of Investment Officer at the Social and Health Insurances (SZV) on September 1, 2011.
“Mr. Rombley has many years of experience and we believe will be an asset to Mr. Carty at this time. The School Board is confident that our present management will be able to complete the many tasks ahead of us and asks for your full cooperation,” the school board stated in a press release aimed at informing the parents and guardians who have children at both or either school.
