Caribbean Auto ends losing streak

GREAT BAY- Exactly one week after receiving their spanking new set of uniforms from their sponsors, the Caribbean Auto Futsal team ended their drought when they defeated the St Maarten Youth United by 6 goals to 3.
The recent defeat by the Caribbean Auto team has now placed the St Maarten United Youth who has not recorded a win in the four week long tournament in a precarious position now that they are heading to the Nagico Division League, NDL. The second match between FC Veendam and Flames had to be postponed.
In one of the more exciting matches of the day, the Nagico Funmakers Veterans defeated Plotseling by 2 goals to 1. The Risc Takers showed their dominance in an encounter against the Over the Ghetto Boyz beating them by 8 goals to 2.Going into that game, neither of those teams had lost a game in their previous matches.
However, it was the last game between MixItlia and St Maarten FC was classified as the game of the day as both teams battled for a spot in the top four in their group. But in the end, it was St. Maarten FC that clinched a 2-1 win, much to the delight of those present. The win has earned them a spot in the Nagico Super League, NSL.
