Barbadian Agency Wins “Best in Print” in 2015 CAF ADDY Awards

BARBADOS—Blueprint Creative, one of Barbados’ leading creative agencies, has been awarded the “Best in Print” Award in the 2015 Caribbean Advertising Federation (CAF) ADDY Awards. The “Best in Print” Award is one of the competition’s most coveted awards and is presented to the agency whose submission, in the opinion of the judges, stood out above all other submissions in the category of print work. The Award was presented to Blueprint Creative for the Agency’s design work on the inaugural edition of Eden Life, a luxury lifestyle magazine. The publication is the in-room piece for Eden Hotel and Resort properties as well as the private airfleet of JetNetherlands and ASL Jet Services.

Eden Life magazine is published by Digital Coconut, a visual content marketing firm based in Toronto which provides media services for the travel and tourism sector worldwide. Digital Coconut’s Creative Director Dave Cox said that he is ecstatic that the inaugural issue of the magazine won the prestigious award.  Commenting on why the firm turned to Blueprint Creative to design the publication, Cox noted “From the very beginning of the project, we knew that we needed a team that understands luxury branding and our vision for the project.  We also needed a team that would be as detail-oriented as it is creative. Blueprint Creative turned out to be the perfect choice.” Digital Coconut also publishes Caribbean Bride Magazine which also won an ADDY award for the Blueprint team.

The CAF ADDY Awards is a component of one of the advertising industry’s most prestigious competitions, the American Advertising Federation ADDY Awards. This year’s CAF ADDY submissions included 995 professional entries and 9 student entries. 51 different companies representing seven (7) island nations submitted entries. These nations include Barbados, Curaçao, Grand Cayman, Guyana, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago and US Virgin Islands.
